Mozilla wrote in Firefox 59's update log: "The new feature added to the about: preferences page allows users to block requests for access to the webcam, location, etc. from malicious sites, in addition to ensuring that users trust the site's normal access."
For users with the unified search bar, search suggestions will appear ahead of browsing history by default. This can be changed in Settings on Windows and in Preferences on Linux and MacOS.
