Microsoft has been renouncing support for Windows Phone for some time. This has led to the withdrawal of third-party developers, and now even Microsoft itself is doing the same thing.
Foreign media Aggiornamentilumia has noticed new changes, and according to the latest Microsoft Store software package dissected, Microsoft is abandoning support for Windows 10 Mobile.
Microsoft Store version 11904.1001.1.0 has an updated App Manifest file. This document indicates that the App application supports Windows 10 version 16299 or higher devices. This is bad news for Windows 10 mobile users because they are still on Build 15254. Because Windows 10 Mobile users can still download and install applications from stores, they just can't update the Microsoft Store application itself because it is no longer supported on Windows 10 Mobile.
