In Google Search, Google Maps, when a user searches for a supported restaurant, a new "Order Online" button appears. After clicking the button, the user can select the delivery person to deliver the meal to the designated address, or pick up the meal by himself, and can select the meal that he wants to eat. If the restaurant supports a payment plan, the user can complete the payment directly through Google's interface and Google Pay. Google Assistant can also help you place orders, even sorted by restaurants that have ordered meals in the past.
The service currently supports five different take-away companies, namely DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice and ChowNow, and Google said it will connect to other take-out platforms such as Zuppler in the future. However, major takeaway platforms like Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Grubhub and Just Eat are currently not accessible.
