Processors will have two major products. One is the new Core Mobile Laptop Processor based on 10nm technology, codenamed Ice Lake. It will also be Intel's first mass-produced 10nm processor. At this conference, in addition to demonstrating that Ice Lake can speed up the daily work of image deblurring and video stylization, Intel will also demonstrate how DL Boost can bring up to 8.8 times higher AI reasoning performance than other similar products on the market.
In the field of data center, Cascade Lake's second generation processor, which can be extended to strong processor, is the only processor family with Intel DL Boost AI accelerator built in. It combines vector neural network instructions and deep learning software optimization. Compared with previous generation products, it can increase the speed of AI reasoning workload for image recognition, target detection, image segmentation by 14 times, compared with the current market. Generally used GPU, the second generation can be extended to strong power, which can improve the performance of recommendation system by 2.4 times.
