The Edge browser based on Chromium has been enhanced in recent updates. Microsoft is also working to bring richer improvements to users, including introducing more modern styles for HTML elements and enabling them by default. Microsoft submitted Commit a week ago, adding support for adjusting default styles for HTML elements when using the newly designed control UI. This update also updates the UI of text-related types when FormControls Refresh is enabled. The deployment of FormControls Refresh and the modern default style will modernize the underlying HTML elements in Chromium browsers.

According to Commit, Microsoft wants to update the UI to enter type = range. Microsoft said that when the FormControls Refresh function was enabled, the new UI was implemented by extending NativeThemeAura to cover the current style provided by NativeThemeBase. The new design needs to draw the selected value part of the slider track and add additional code to make the layout of the slider track invalid when the thumb position of the slider changes.
