In the era when the clamshell machine is still prosperous, such equipment may not surprise us. But as the screen's daily gradual change, manufacturers began to consider how to balance the big screen and portability - such as the two-petal body symmetrically spread out, as a tablet to use.

On Galaxy Fold,SamsungI have tried the internal folding large screen + the external information shows the design of the small screen. However, this new patent, which was recently exposed, reveals Samsung's new thinking about mobile devices.

In August 2018, Samsung submitted a patent application for this fan-leaf three-screen smartphone to Korea's Property Office, which was approved in March 2019, but many people did not know it until June 11.

The file contains 10 illustrations showing the bottom of the semi-circular device. This is not onlyMobile phoneIt offers a unique look and hides additional features like extensions like RAL.

These three-part screens are exactly the same size, so they can be stacked neatly like a cookie. On the basis of the main screen, you can use the other two screens at various angles as needed.

The bottom ring portion is obviously a metal rod for fixing three screens, so that the user can move the components to the left or right independently of each other. At the same time, Samsung can also make the overall body relatively thin.

Finally, in order to match the unique three-screen angle design, Samsung obviously has to develop supporting applications for the device (such as camera app), and consider how to add biometric authentication and unlocking functions such as fingerprint recognition.

Unfortunately, many patents are just a pitfall of the company, and it is not likely that the company will soon launch similar equipment. But if you really have such a "Swiss Army Knife" mobile phone, would you consider how to use it?
