At present, 75 per cent of the songs that sell well in the United States belong to Apple Digital Masters. Of the 100 best sellers in the world, 71 per cent are Apple Digital Masters.

The Mastered for iTunes project, which began in 2012, allows engineers to optimize music specifically for digital downloads. In Apple Music, you can't see if a song belongs to Digital Masters, and believes there will be a logo in the future.

In addition to Apple Music, many other streaming music services have launched lossless audio playback, of course, at higher prices. Tidal's HiFi subscription, for example, costs $19.99 a month, compared with $9.99 a month for regular audio quality subscriptions.
