Korea Telecom’s peak downlink rate is 751 Mbps and SK Telecom is 639 Mbps.

The research company said thatLGUplus' 5G rate combined with its reliability and low latency makes it superior to competitors in the early stages of 5G deployment.

Its average 5G downlink delay is 72 milliseconds, which is the lowest of all networks, with Korea Telecom at 107 milliseconds and SK Telecom at 195 milliseconds.

The test took place during the peak hours from June 28th to July 6th in Seoul city center, Seoul suburb driving, Seoul to Busan high-speed rail, using LG V50 ThinQ 5GMobile phone.

According to previous reports from the Korean media, the three operators that launched the 5G mobile service in April signed more than 2 million 5G users in early August.

Because their network deployment is still in its early stages, testers were unable to connect to 5G in more than half of the time, and the available time accounted for 42.2% of the RootMetrics download test. Among them, Korea Telecom's download availability rate is 45.6%, LG Uplus is 44.6%, and SK Telecom is 42.2%.

According to C114, LG Uplus mainly adoptsHuaweiThe device deploys a 5G network and uses the latter's 5G Massive MIMO solution to achieve this advantage with less spectrum resources than competitors.
