Microsoft also confirmed the restructuring of the leadership, and now see Halo executive producer Mary Olson as the head of the Halo Infinite team. In addition, Microsoft said, "The overall creativity and production of the game is still led by Chris Lee, head of Halo Infinite's studio."
The Microsoft statement also reiterated Halo Infinite's 2020 holiday release window confirming that these changes have no impact on the release date of Halo Infinite. The game will still be the next generation of MicrosoftXboxThe project's code name "Scarlett" is the main push game.
Earlier this year, 343 Industries released Halo Infinite's preview and trailer in E3 2019. 343 Industries took over Bungie's Halo management rights in 2007. Since then, 343 Industries has released Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Master Chief Collection. The Master Chief Collection was also confirmed on the PC earlier this year.
