It's unclear how many users are affected, but Microsoft said that devices with built-in speakers will have problems connecting to Bluetooth speakers after installing this update.

According to the support documents that Microsoft has quietly released,WindowsThe 10 KB4505903 will destroy the Bluetooth function of some devices. When pairing the Bluetooth speakers, the affected users will be in trouble and the speaker output will generate noise.

On some devices, the Bluetooth connection will succeed, but the sound will be emitted by the built-in speaker instead of the newly connected device. The user is also warned in the Device Manager by displaying a yellow exclamation point icon for the Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp Source entry.

There are currently some problem reports on the Microsoft Feedback Hub, and users have recorded Bluetooth issues after installing this update:

"After installing the latest Windows 10 1903 quality update KB4505903 (July 2019),IntelThe Bluetooth adapter has been completely removed from the system and cannot be reinstalled or reactivated. Uninstalling this patch helps fix Bluetooth issues.

Microsoft said users can solve Bluetooth problems by running the System File Checker tool to fix corrupted Windows files:

Open a command prompt (CMD) with administrative privileges.

Type the following command and press Enter:

Sfc / scannow

You need to restart your system to complete this process.

Speaking of SFC, it's worth mentioning that if you don't have the latest security patches installed, the Windows 10 SFC feature will incorrectly mark PowerShell files as corrupt. In order to use the SFC feature without any errors, make sure that the Windows Defender service is up to date because the latest update contains fixes for SFC commands.
