The old Microsoft Planner icon is three overlapping little people with a hook at the top, while the new version uses green squares of different depths to form a layout similar to P.

ObviouslyMicrosoftHope allOffice365 Productivity tools use unified icons. Although not as intuitive as Word or PowerPoint, this new icon represents the initials of Microsoft Planner, P. This is similar to "O" in Outlook, "W" in Word, "T" in teams, and "S" in Sharepoint. The Sway, Delve, Flow icons in the Office 365 dashboard have not been updated for this new design language.

We currently see this new icon in the Office 365 dashboard and assume that the deployment can be linked to Microsoft'sThe serverEnd update. Although it appears in the dashboard, we haven't seen it in Planner's collection icon or on the loading screen of the main Planner website itself. Applications on iOS and Android seem to have not been updated yet.
