When the second phase of the extension is complete, Delivery Unlimited can be used in all areas available to Walmart Grocery Delivery. More than 1,600 stores across the United States will participate in the program, accounting for 50% of the country.

Wal-Mart's Delivery Unlimited is trying to expand its footprint in already crowded space. If you live in a metropolitan area, there is usually no shortage of grocery distribution services. Wal-Mart's main competitors include Instacart, Shipt (owned by Target but also delivered by regional chains such as Kroger and Meijer) and Amazon Prime Now.

Previously, Wal-Mart shoppers could order groceries online and pick them up at local stores for free, or they could choose to pay $9.95 (or sometimes less) for each order. Delivery Unlimited is the third option. The retailer currently offers $12.95 a month or $98 a year subscription, including a 15-day free trial.

Users can still place orders through Walmart Grocery applications and select a delivery time period for their orders. There is no limit on the delivery time. This is just another way to pay for online orders-if users order groceries online from Wal-Mart every month, it may save them money.

Wal-Mart's Delivery Unlimited service is priced at a competitive price of $98 a year.
