According to a report from PCMag, Intel LET modems are used in the 11/11 Pro of the iPhone this year. The report explains that different menu items will appear in the network test menu for the iPhone using Intel Baseband and Qualcomm Baseband, while the 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max of the iPhone are obviously all Intel layouts with baseband cores. The chip may be XMM 7660, the last 4G chip before Intel shuts down its smartphone modem business.
In the past few years, Apple has split up orders for iPhone modems between Intel and Qualcomm. Since last year, only Intel modems have been used. Intel has also confirmed that it will continue to supply 4G modems, suggesting that its roadmap includes the iPhone 11.The iPhone 11 Pro series with the 4-4-4-4 MIMO antenna technology is expected to be about 20% faster than last year's model, and the iPhone 11, which supports the 2-2-2 MIMO antenna, is slightly inferior to the iPhone 11, which has previously tested that the iPhone 11 Pro 4G speed is 13% faster than that of the iPhone, but there is no information about speed comparisons.
