The Consumer report, a consumer culture magazine sponsored by the American Consumer Union (Consumers Union), recently ranked new smartphones, with Apple's new iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max selected.
The Consumer report praised the improvement in iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max battery life, with the iPhone 11 Pro Max running for 40.5 hours in the host's test, a "huge change" from 29.5 hours for iPhone XS Max. At the same time, the iPhone 11 Pro lasted 34 hours, while the iPhone 11 ran for 27.5 hours.
To figure out how long a cell phone's battery can last, consumer reports uses automatically programmed mechanical fingers to complete a series of simulations of consumers using the phone on average a day. Robots use the phone to browse the internet, take photos, use GPS navigation and, of course, dial the phone.
In terms of camera quality, the Consumer report is not detailed in the ranking, but indicates that these devices received the "highest score" in the photography category. As far as the image quality of the rear camera is concerned, all three iPhone 11 models get a "very good" rating, which keeps them in line with competitors.
The enhanced durability of the iPhone 11 series has also been well received. All three mobile phones passed the water resistance test. IPhone 11 and 11 Pro Max passed the 100 drop durability test. Unfortunately, two iPhone 11 Pro samples were damaged in the drop test.
In the end, the Consumer report scored 95 points for iPhone 11 Pro Max, followed by iPhone 11 Pro 92 points. IPhone 11 scored 89 points, ranking eighth on the whole.
