Even so, we have seen some multi-device wireless charging boards with similar functions. Although the shape design is similar to AirPower, the implementation scheme is different, most of which integrate two or more regular charging coils into one shell.

This means that most competitors can only place devices in specific locations on the charging board, but the good news is that Nomad claims Base Station Pro can do that. It claims to use 18 sets of coil matrices covering the entire top area of the panel and supporting up to three devices.

Aira FreePower hexagonal coil array, combined with circuits and algorithms, can quickly find and track devices.

Aira adds: "As more and more devices are placed on the FreePower desktop, additional optimum locations can be created so that everything can be charged at the same time, bringing a relaxed and natural use experience."

FreePower is quite intelligent, compatible with a variety of Qi devices, can correctly identify the power of each small tool and make corresponding adjustments. Nomad is reported to have spent two years on Base Pro to wrap the FreePower in an aluminum shell with leather tops.

As for the price and listing date, Nomad is still in the process of preparing for it. If all goes well, the, Nomad Base Station Pro wireless charging board will be on sale by the end of 2019.
