Second, Huawei 27W super fast charge wireless charger test

1. Output compatibility test of wireless charger

Officials say products support Huawei's Mate30 seriesMobile phoneMate20 Pro,P30 Pro and other mobile phones that support wireless charging. Compared with the previous Huawei 15W wireless charger, the charging power of this generation 27W high power wireless super fast charging is increased by 80%, and the wireless charging speed is faster than that of wired. To verify performance, test Huawei's Mate30 series, Huawei P30 Pro, Huawei Mate20 Pro and other branded phones that support wireless charging.

Test conditions: use Huawei 40W charger (Huawei mate 30 series standard charger) as input, use chargerlab power-z kt001 portable tester to monitor the input, and connect Huawei 27W wireless charger with original 5A data line as power line.

After Huawei mate30 is placed on the wireless charger, the screen displays multiple lightning icons and current power, and a line of striking "wireless super fast charging" appears below, indicating that 27W super wireless charging is in progress.

At this time, the input power is about 34.1W (9.9V3.5A). After efficiency conversion, the final wireless charging power can indeed reach Huawei 27W super wireless fast charging level.

After Huawei P30 Pro is put on, the screen displays two lightning icons and the current power, indicating that wireless fast charging is in progress.

At this time, the input power is about 12.8W (8.9V1.4A). After efficiency conversion, the final wireless charging power reaches Huawei 10W wireless fast charging standard.

After Huawei's mate20 Pro is put on, the screen also displays two lightning icons and the current power, indicating that the wireless fast charging is in progress.

At this time, the input power is about 12.7W (8.9V1.4A). After efficiency conversion, the final wireless charging power reaches Huawei 10W wireless fast charging standard.

Finally, look at the compatibility of other brands of wireless charging mobile phones other than Huawei.

Test using a wireless charging aging test fixture showing “PPP ”, i.e. support normal 5W, Apple 7.5W and Samsung 10W.

The product supports Samsung wireless fast charging, tests Samsung Note10 phones, and the screen says "accelerating charging wirelessly."

At this time, the input power is about 10.28w (9.92v1.03a).

The product supports Apple's 7.5W wireless fast charging, and the iPhone that supports wireless charging can be put on to enter wireless charging.

Charge iPhone x (IOS 13.0), and the input power is about 10.34w (9.92v1.04a). After efficiency conversion, the wireless charging power finally reaches Apple's 7.5W wireless fast charging standard.

Apple modified the compatibility support for iPhone wireless charging after iOS 13.1, and decreased compatibility with some third-party wireless chargers. If it needs to experience 7.5W fast charging on Huawei, the iPhone mobile phone system version requires an older version of the iOS 13.1.

If the iPhone system version is IOS 13.1 (included), the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be charged as shown in the figure above. The input power is only about 5W, so it can't shake hands with apple 7.5W wireless fast charging smoothly.

It's easy to watch. Huawei's 27W super fast charging Wireless charger supports Huawei's 27W wireless super fast charging, Huawei's 10W wireless fast charging, Samsung's 10W wireless fast charging and Apple's 7.5W wireless fast charging. However, to activate Apple's 7.5W wireless fast charging for iPhone, the system version of its mobile device cannot be IOS 13.1 or higher.

2. Data line compatibility test

Huawei 27W super fast charging wireless charger standard is a Huawei 5A data line (USB-A to USB-C), when it and Huawei 40W charger (Huawei Mate 30 series standard charger) to power the product, it can turn on 27W super wireless fast charge for Mate 30, but if replaced with a normal USB-A to USB-C data line, what will be the output performance change?

For this reason, a common usb-a to usb-c data line is prepared by the editor to connect Huawei 27W wireless charger as the power line. Huawei 40W charger (Huawei mate 30 series standard charger) is used as the input, and the input is monitored by the chargerlab power-z kt001 tester.

Using the ordinary usb-a to usb-c data cable, when mate 30 is placed on the wireless charger, the screen displays multiple lightning icons, and a line of striking "wireless super fast charging" appears below, indicating that 27W super wireless charging is handshaked.

The input power of common wire rod is about 28.45w (9.88v2.87a). The power is not as high as that of Huawei 5A usb-a to usb-c data cable.

After the Samsung S 10 is placed on the wireless charger, the screen shows that it is charging wirelessly. At this time, the input power can reach about 10.37W (9.92V1.04A).

When the iPhone x is placed on the wireless charger, the input power can reach about 10.06w (9.92v1.01a).

Using the ordinary usb-a to usb-c data cable as the power cable, and with a 40W special adapter, Huawei 27W wireless charger can shake hands with mate 30 to charge the wireless super fast charger, but the power is reduced, unable to reach the best state. Samsung 10W and apple 7.5W wireless fast charging are not affected and are in normal level.

3. Wireless charger input compatibility test

The Huawei 27W super fast charging Wireless charger in Xiaobian's hands does not have an additional adapter. There are many charging adapters with different protocols on the market. How will their compatibility with Huawei 27W super fast charging Wireless charger show? Next, Xiaobian will use Huawei 22.5w charger, apple 61W PD charger, leeco 24W QC charger to test its input compatibility. (we tested the compatibility of Huawei's 40W charger and wireless charger before, and the performance is very good. We can turn on the 27W super wireless fast charging output for it, and we will not test it here.)

The leeco 24W QC charger (supporting QC fast charging) is used as the input, the input is monitored by the chargerlab power-z kt001 portable tester, and Huawei 5A data line (usb-a to usb-c) is used as the power line to connect Huawei 27W wireless charger. Mate 30 puts on the wireless charger, and the mobile phone screen shows that it is charging fast. The current input power of the wireless charger is 12.47w (9.15v1.35a). After efficiency conversion, the final wireless charging power reaches Huawei's 10W wireless fast charging standard.

Apple 61W PD charger (pure PD fast charging) is used as input, ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM001C portable tester is used to monitor the input, 5A data line (USB-C to USB-C) is used as power cord to connect Huawei 27W wireless charger. Mate 30 is put on wireless charger, mobile phone screen shows that it is charging wirelessly, the input power of current wireless charger is 6.78W.

III. Huawei 27W super fast charging Wireless charger charge mate 30 full test

Temperature has always been an important reason that affects the charging speed of wireless chargers. Because of the temperature, many wireless chargers that support fast charging have not been long in the continuous stage of high power and slow in charging speed. Huawei wireless chargers support a maximum of 27W power output and are equipped with active heat dissipation fans. How long can it last? Next, we will test the full charging of Huawei 27W super fast charging wireless charger Mate 30, and the test environment is 25 degrees at room temperature. Let's find out.

When mate 30 started charging, Huawei wireless charger turned on 27W wireless output mode, and the maximum power of input terminal soared to 36W; with the rise of temperature, this stable high power lasted for nearly 5 minutes, and then the power of input terminal began to fluctuate, with the fluctuation range of 16W ~ 30W; overall, the power of input terminal of Huawei wireless charger was mostly maintained at 16 ~ 30W. About, the highest power in the whole process is 36.45w.

Let's look at the rise of Huawei mate 30's power. In the first five minutes of the high-power stage, 10% of the power was charged, 44% of the power was charged in half an hour, 87% in one hour, and it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge. This wireless charging speed is close to that of some wired mobile phones.

IV. summary of charging head network

Huawei 27W super fast charging wireless charger adopts traditional disk design as a whole, which will not produce aesthetic rejection for most people. The top surface of wireless charger shell adopts cloth weaving material, which can bring comfortable feel and balance air permeability and light transmittance at the same time. Simple design style, exquisite and small, cross silica gel anti-skid design is also very humanized.

The wireless charger is equipped with a built-in active cooling fan, which takes in air from the top of the cloth panel, and the centrifugal fan blows out to the bottom periphery. The air circulation takes away the heat of mobile phone and wireless charging, and reduces the temperature rise to keep the charging rate in a high power range.

Huawei's 27W super fast charging Wireless charger has passed the "Qi" certification. It supports Huawei's 27W wireless super fast charging, Huawei's 10W wireless fast charging, Samsung's 10W wireless fast charging, and Apple's 7.5W wireless fast charging. The compatibility test link can shake hands with the device corresponding to the wireless fast charging, which is very good.

The wireless charger does not pick wires or chargers, but mainly realizes two points: 1. The ordinary usb-a to usb-c data cable can also activate the 27W wireless super fast charging, but the power will be reduced, and the rest of the wireless fast charging will not be affected; 2. The PD and QC fast charging chargers can supply power for them, but it should be noted that the pure PD protocol charger cannot activate the wireless charger fast charging state under the power supply.

In the whole charging of Mate 30, Huawei 27W super fast charging wireless charger has a maximum input power of 36W, a high power stage of 30W lasts for nearly 5 minutes, and most of the time the power fluctuates between 16 and 30W, which is mainly due to the addition of active heat dissipation function to the wireless charger, which can take away the heat from itself and the mobile phone in time.

Huawei mate 30 has 4200mah battery capacity, 10% charge in five minutes, 44% charge in half an hour, 87% charge in one hour. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge in the whole process, which is very good. It is faster than some wired charging phones. Wireless charging technology has developed for so many years, and finally moves from "energy" to "easy to use", which provides another use for consumer's endurance guarantee. Experience.
