The world mobile communication conference (MWC), held in Barcelona, Spain in February every year, is the most important annual event in the field of smart phones and mobile communications in the world. Smart phone manufacturers will also use this exhibition to release flagship mobile phones and major technological innovation in the new year. Every year, more than 100000 visitors come to Barcelona to attend this event.
LG is the first exhibitor to announce its withdrawal from MWC 2020. On February 5, a LG spokesman said that LG decided to withdraw from the mwc2020 world mobile communication conference held in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of this month, and said that it would choose the right time to hold the event in the future to release the 2020 mobile phone products. The former supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5g, and carries Xiaolong 865 flagship platform.

Given the public health risks around the coronavirus, ensuring the safety of our colleagues, partners and customers is our top priority, NVIDIA said. We have been looking forward to sharing our work in AI, 5g with the industry. We regret not to participate, but we believe that this is the right decision.
NVIDIA, an important sponsor and official partner of the MWC, has also planned a forum and exhibition
Samsung is considering whether to attend MWC 2020, but has yet to make a final decision. On February 9, according to us technology media, citing people familiar with the matter, some of Samsung's employees in the US and South Korea have cancelled their flights to Europe. However, Samsung still plans to set up a booth in mwc2020 to display the company's thinnest products, but the senior members of Samsung should not appear.
On February 10, Amazon also announced in a statement that it would withdraw from the 2020 world mobile communication conference due to the outbreak of new coronavirus and some concerns. A spokesman for Xiaomi said that the company will send a delegation as soon as possible and may make necessary adjustments. Representatives of Samsung Electronics, oppo, Huawei, Microsoft and MediaTek all said they were preparing to attend the conference as planned.

In addition to increasing on-site medical support and disinfection programs, GSMA has added three new measures, including on-site installation of new signage to alert participants to hygiene recommendations; implementation of microphone change protocols in speakers; and communication of recommendations to all participants for adoption
GSMA has taken a number of measures to help reduce the spread of the virus, and will continue to increase other initiatives. These measures include compliance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and other health authorities, respect for travel restrictions that have been implemented, early arrival in Spain for self isolation and the preparation of adequate masks.
In the past decade, MWC is not only the largest industry exhibition in the mobile communication industry, but also the new product and technology exhibition stage of Chinese mobile phone manufacturers. According to the data of previous years, enterprises from China accounted for a large proportion of MWC exhibitors. After China has first announced 5g's official commercial use in 2019, a large number of cutting-edge 5g products and solutions that should have been exhibited in this MWC will be affected at present.
