Recently, counter point, an authoritative market research institution, released the report on the global smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2019. The report shows,Apple ranks first with 18% of the market share, Samsung's share is equal to that of Huawei, Xiaomi and vivo。

Counter point's latest report shows that,In the fourth quarter of 2019, global smartphone shipments increased by 2% year-on-year to 401.1 million. China fell 10% year-on-year, its eighth consecutive quarter of decline.

In terms of brand, apple ranks first with 18% market share. Despite the absence of 5g mobile phones, 4G iPhone sales are still strong, with shipments up 10% year-on-year. It's also two years later that Apple has returned to number one in the global smartphone market.

Huawei (including glory) has a market share of 14%, ranking third. Although its shipments in China increased by 12%, it failed to offset the decline in other regions.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, Huawei's global shipments fell 6% year-on-year, the first year-on-year decline since the fourth quarter of 2017.

Millet market share is 8%,Although Xiaomi's shipments in China decreased by 17% year on year, its global shipments increased by 28% year on year due to its reduced dependence on the domestic market due to its overseas expansion in the past few years.

Vivo, with a market share of 8%, became the fifth largest brand in the fourth quarter of 2019. This is the first time since vivo surpassed oppo in the second quarter of 2015.
