Global smartphone shipments fell 17% in the first quarter of Strategy Analytics:2020

According to Strategy Analytics latest research, global smartphone shipments were 275 million in the first quarter of 2020, down 17% from a year earlier. This is the worst quarterly performance ever in the smartphone industry. Global smartphone market share, Samsung maintained first with 21%, second Huawei stabilized at 18%, while third-place Apple edged up to 14%.
