Samsung has been a leader in memory chips for the past 18 years, and recently announced the latest memory chip technology —— the industry's first V-NAND flash design of up to 160 layers. it has higher storage capacity while higher chip density.

As for the latter, Samsung plans to transfer one of its DRAM production lines located in Huacheng, Gyeonggi do, South Korea, to the production of photosensitive elements. Since the production process of DRAM production line and photosensitive elements is about 80%, the materials and related equipment used to produce DRAM can be used to produce photosensitive elements.
After the installation and test of new equipment, the mass production will start as soon as this year, and Samsung needs to spend 1 trillion won (5.8 billion yuan) for the production conversion.
