Although this year's fireworks imports are bound to decline compared with previous years, the United States still imported 40700 tons of fireworks worth US $100 million as of April this year, most of which can be traced back to China.

According to statista, the United States imported $315 million of fireworks from China in 2019, accounting for 94% of the total U.S. fireworks imports.

With four months to go before the general election, trump urgently needs to boost his public support. A brilliant fireworks show may be inspiring, but it is not smooth. In the afternoon, a group of Native American protestors gathered on the highway leading to "presidential hill" to protest and block the road.

Tomorrow, more Chinese fireworks will bloom again over the White House.
