Wang Jun announced the layout of Huawei Hongmeng system on the vehicle.

According to Huawei's plan, Hongmeng operating system is a distributed architecture, which can realize seamless interconnection of mobile phone, TV, wearable, automobile and other diversified terminals. In view of the use scenarios of the cockpit, the requirements for the docking of upper application software and bottom hardware, Huawei has made customized development of the vehicle version and created the Hongmeng cockpit operating system HOS.

The system realizes the decoupling of hardware and software in cockpit and opens to the north and south. Basic services are developed for core capabilities such as voice interaction, visual recognition, audio optimization, etc., which are open to upper level applications, and support the joint definition of open interfaces with automobile enterprises to enable rapid development of partners.

The traditional operating system for vehicle can meet the requirements of vehicle specifications, but it lacks AI development library and other development tools. Huawei has also developed the intelligent driving operating system AOS, which meets the core requirements of the development of intelligent driving software, such as ecology, vehicle specifications and data-driven development.

Huawei's intelligent vehicle control operating system Vos supports heterogeneous multi-core, model chemical tool chain and AUTOSAR compatibility, which makes the smooth migration of the original ECU system code and the centralized development of multiple ECUs simple and efficient. Compared with the existing operation, Huawei's Vos will be more open and open-source for the basic OS, which will help the car factory to realize self-control.

On the basis of multi domain control system, cross domain integrated scheduling capability is also needed. Huawei vehicle stack is a service-oriented cross domain integrated software framework, which enables rapid development, verification and deployment of vehicle characteristics. Through the distributed communication, data and security framework, it integrates cross domain capabilities and unified openness, and can call system capabilities according to vehicle application scenarios and experience requirements, so as to achieve optimal performance and experience. Vehicle stack supports architecture reuse among different models, and supports rich automation tool chain. The vehicle development cycle can be shortened by 6-8 months.

Wang Jun said that Huawei will persist in doing something and not doing something in the automotive field. In the process of meeting the digital transformation of automobile, Huawei will focus on developing the basic elements of digital platform with heavy workload and difficulty, and work with partners to promote the digital transformation of the automotive industry.

The essence of software defined car is to change the business model of the car and the user's car experience. The layered architecture for software defined automobile is firstly the hardware (hardware peripheral) of chassis power domain actuator, above which is the hardware layer of computing platform and network communication (motherboard); on the top of the basic software platform layer (operating system, the basic capabilities of software and hardware decoupling, hardware driving, communication and Security), and the top is the application system that users can experience. Even if it is based on the new architecture, the value of the car to the end users is still the experience that users can feel, such as the appearance and interior of the vehicle, the feeling of handling, all kinds of cockpit experience, automatic driving assistance, etc. These are what users can directly touch and feel, and are the key for automobile enterprises to face the market and build differentiated competitiveness. The basic software platform is the business enabling layer, which is not directly perceived by users, and is a basic work. For example, in order to survive Huawei's mobile phones overseas, we built the HMS ecosystem. It took us nine months to write a version of the HMS ecosystem.
