Sony has suspended supply of CMOS cameras to China: applying for lifting the ban

Affected by the sanctions, some Japanese technology manufacturers have been forced to suspend the supply of Huawei.

According to the Japanese media, in terms of smartphones,Sony suspended the shipment of Huawei image sensors, while Armor suspended the supply of flash chips.

Also affected are Huawei base stations and other basic equipment, such as Mitsubishi Electric supplied optical semiconductor devices, Reza supplied amplifiers, Toshiba supplied hard disk, and so on.

Sony is considering applying for permission to continue to supply to China, and said it will expand more diversified customers, the report said. However, the company has cut capital spending by $470 million, and Sony is said to have made billions of dollars a year by selling CMOS to China.
