Qualcomm has released the latest 7-series snapdragon processor, snapdragon 750g, which integrates x525g modem, supports mmwave and sub-6ghz 5g, and improves CPU and graphics performance compared with snapdragon 730g.The new chip is actually an upgraded version of 730g, which provides a new Adreno 619 GPU. Qualcomm claims that its graphics rendering performance is improved by 10% (compared with 730g's Adreno 618 GPU), and the kryo 570 CPU is updated, and the performance is 20% higher than that of 730g's kryo 470.
The 750G also uses other improvements from Qualcomm's higher performance and updated chips, such as the company's fifth-generation AI engine, which, Qualcomm says, Provides 20% AI performance improvements for AI-based camera or voice translation. The updated AI engine also allows Qualcomm to support AI-based echo cancellation and background noise suppression. In addition, a new Qualcomm description
The 750g launch is not intended to replace the more powerful (and probably more expensive) 765 / 765G / 768g models that the company has been offering for months, and it seems likely that the company will announce new updates to its top 7 series chips in the coming months.
But by replacing 730g with a 5g model such as 750g, it shows that Qualcomm wants to emphasize providing more 5g options for partners in its chipset product line. In addition, the company also promises to subdivide the functions of the next high-end 7-series product line, and provide customers with more high-end features at a cheaper price.
