Tesla recently held a third quarter 2020 earnings conference call, during which Musk was asked about Cybertruck. According to the CEO, the company is making "small improvements" to the truck to improve the design seen in the past. Musk didn't provide any details on what happened to the design of the pickup.
According to sources, cybertruck production will not start until the Giga Texas plant is completed. Musk did say that he had been working with the design team at the studio to discuss improvements to cybertruck. The CEO said Tesla always wanted their vehicles to be better than the ones they launched. Musk says it's disappointing when companies come out with great looking cars and then the mass production version is different.
He finally said he believed the pickup would be better than what the company had shown before. Previously, Tesla has confirmed that the size of the vehicle will be adjusted from 84 Inches to nearly 82 inches. This will make cybertruck a little smaller.
Musk has also said in the past that it will consider folding up the rear window and body panel of cybertruck to increase the storage space of the vehicle. Despite its unusual design, Tesla's electric pickup has a pre-set capacity of nearly 750000.
