AMD is highly praised for its open technology attitude, that is, it is willing to do cross platform and open source support, rather than closed self-respect.

Just launched RX 6000 Series graphics card, for the first time to support hardware level optical pursuit technology. However, in order to consider the following new games and low-end graphics cards, amd also needs to support DLSS (deep learning supersampling) technology similar to NVIDIA RTX graphics card.

DLSS can reduce the computing cost of graphics card and increase the number of frames significantly without significantly affecting the player's visual experience.

During the communication with foreign media a few days ago, Scott herkelman, vice president of AMD and general manager of brand of radon, and frank Azor, chief game architect of the company, revealed more information.

Herkelman said that in the development of supersampling technologyAMD's goal is quite different from NVIDIA. They are committed to cross platform and non exclusive API of an architecture or game, so as to reduce code workload and shorten adaptation time.

Herkelman also noted that they are working with host partners as well.

Azor pointed out that the launch of AMD cDNA architecture is a strong signal to separate the data center from the game. For rDNA, games are the first and most important thing.
