The hybrid system has always been a big selling point of Japanese cars, because it started early, and obviously has more market and reputation than German hybrid cars, such as Toyota ths and Honda i-mmd, which we are familiar with. Now Nissan hybrid is going to enter China.

Recently, the E-power technology sharing conference held by Nissan in Shanghai announced that,The second generation of E-power technology has officially entered China, and the first model equipped with this technology will be launched within this year. It is said that Xuanyi will take the lead in carrying.

E-power technology was released in 2016, and the cumulative sales volume of vehicles equipped with this technology has exceeded 500000 units in the Japanese market so far. It is a set of efficient and mature power mode between HEV and ev.

The whole E-power hybrid system includes a high efficiency engine, a generator, a drive motor, inverter / controller and battery pack.

The second generation of E-power has entered China this time,

In addition,The second generation of E-power hybrid is also equipped with a more efficient engine. The comprehensive thermal efficiency of this engine has reached 50% in technology.

The biggest feature of E-power technology is that it is 100% fuel power generation and 100% full-time electric drive

However, unlike the extended range system, the second generation E-power has no charging interface and does not need to be charged. It is as convenient to use as a traditional gasoline car.

In addition, because the capacity of the power battery pack is only 1.5kwh, its small volume and low weight indirectly ensure the fuel economy of the engine.

The result of this combination is smooth driving, absolutely quiet, comparable to trams, and low fuel consumption.According to statistics, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers per day with E-power technology is only 2.67l.

Of course, the disadvantage of E-power is also obvious, that is, the power will not be too strong, and economy is its first choice.

At present, the E-power technology in the Japanese market is only suitable for small cars. For compact SUVs like Qijun, there is obviously a higher power demand.

However, officials have said,There are three different power combinations of E-power technology, which can be applied to larger size or more sporty vehicles.
