In 2018, 2019 and 2020, the revenue of Jingdong Logistics was 37.9 billion yuan, 49.8 billion yuan and 73.4 billion yuan respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 31.6% in 2019 and 47.2% in 2020.
At the same time, the opening-up strategy of Jingdong Logistics since 2017 has achieved remarkable results. In terms of external revenue, the proportion of external customer revenue of JD logistics has increased from 29.9% in 2018 and 38.4% in 2019 to 46.6% in 2020.
According to the data,The number of Jingdong Logistics employees reached about 260000, a year-on-year increase of 90000 in the first quarter of last year.
In 2020, Jingdong Logistics will spend a total of 26.1 billion yuan on front-line employees. According to the number of front-line employees disclosed in the prospectus at the end of 2020, it is conservatively estimated that the average annual expenditure of each employee is nearly 110000 yuan, and the monthly expenditure is nearly 9000 yuan.
As of December 31, 2020, Jingdong Logistics has operated more than 900 warehouses, including the cloud warehouse area managed by Jingdong Logistics, with a total storage area of about 21 million square meters.
Jingdong Logistics has built six major networks, including warehousing network, comprehensive transportation network, last mile distribution network, heavy goods network, cold chain network and cross-border network. On February 16, this year, Jingdong Logistics formally submitted an application for offering to the stock exchange of Hong Kong. Earlier, it was reported that Jingdong Logistics planned to launch the IPO from May 17 to May 21 and list in Hong Kong on May 28.
