In the morning of June 11, counterpoint research released global smartphone and function phone shipment data in the first quarter of this year.
The results showed that in the current quarter, the global total shipment was 354 million units, an increase of 20% year-on-year and a decline of 10% month on month.
In terms of manufacturers,Samsung's shipment share accounted for 22%, Apple's 17% and Xiaomi's 14%, while Huawei's 4% shipment accounted for only the sixth place.
According to the market division, in Asia, vivo ranked the first (18%) in terms of shipment, with oppo, Xiaomi, apple and Samsung ranking 2-5 respectively.
In the North American market, Apple's shipment accounted for as much as 55%, with Samsung, LG, motorcycle and Alcatel ranking the second to fifth. It's a slight pity that although it ranks in the top three in the North American market, LG has closed its smartphone business because of its anonymity in other important markets.
In addition, in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and other places, Xiaomi ranked third with remarkable achievements. In India, in particular, Xiaomi ranked first in terms of its 26% share of shipments, thanks to the strong performance of redmi 9 series, with a year-on-year increase of 8%.
