Among them, Apple ranked first in the global smartphone market with a market share of 22% in Q4 2021. Samsung maintained its first position throughout 2021.
IT House understands that Strategy Analytics said supply constraints and component shortages continue to affect the smartphone market, which is not expected to ease until the second half of the year.
The report shows that Apple's iPhone shipments in Q4 2021 are 80 million units. For the full year of 2021, Apple ranked second with a market share of 17%, behind Samsung and ahead of Xiaomi.
Samsung ranked second with 69 million smartphone shipments in Q4 2021, up 12% year-over-year and 19% market share. For the full year of 2021, Samsung maintained its number one position with a market share of 20%.
In addition, Xiaomi Q4 2021 ranks third with 45 million smartphone shipments. For the whole of 2021, Xiaomi also ranked third with a market share of 14%, an increase of 3 percentage points over the 11% market share in 2020.
