Need for Speed: Bohemian came out with support for NVIDIA's DLSS 3 technology and got a lot of hype, but it set an embarrassing record for NVIDIA's flagship card.
According to EA's announcement, when running Need for Speed: Uninhibited, the RTX 4090 will have a screen flicker issue, but it cannot be fixed through the game patch, driver update, must refresh the graphics card BIOS.
This is a first in the history of video cards.
Fortunately, it's not a hassle. You just need to download NVIDIA's official firmware update tool, follow the prompts in Windows, and then restart.
The other good news is that this update will only change a small part of the graphics card's BIOS code, and it won't change the version number or affect the card's own Settings, such as overclocking or power unlocking, for any brand or model.
By the way, both RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 have the problem that the screen may be blank for no reason when the system starts up. This tool needs to be used to update the firmware to solve the problem.
