Fan Zhiyong, head of Huawei Intellectual Property Department, said, "After more than 20 years of continuous innovation, Huawei has formed a number of high-value patent packages worldwide, including 5G, Wi-Fi, audio and video. Huawei is pleased to have reached a cross-licensing agreement with OPPO. Mutual recognition of the value of intellectual property among enterprises can promote the positive innovation cycle of "input, return and reinput" of high-value standard technology research, improve the sustainable innovation ability of the industry, and provide consumers with more competitive products and services."
Feng Ying, Chief Intellectual Property Officer of OPPO, said: "We are very pleased to have reached a patent cross-licensing agreement with Huawei, which fully demonstrates the recognition and respect of each other's intellectual property strength and is a win-win result.
