Over the weekend, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei said that Huawei will launch its own MetaERP management system in April. This news caused an earthquake in the ERP sector yesterday, Yonyou Network in the A-share market fell by the daily limit, and Kingdee software in Hong Kong also plunged. Investors are worried that Huawei's entering the ERP market will cause pressure on these companies.
However, Huawei has denied the news of entering ERP. Shanghai Daily quoted Huawei sources as saying that Huawei's MetaERP management system is only for internal use and that "entering the ERP market" is a misunderstanding.
Yonyou also responded to this issue yesterday, saying that Huawei's products are mostly for internal use, and there are large uncertainties in the future whether they can be copied and promoted in mass, which will have a relatively limited impact on the current competitive landscape.
Ren previously revealed in his speech that in April, Huawei's MetaERP will pledge to run entirely on its own operating system, database, compiler and language... Made their own management system MetaERP software.
MetaERP has also passed the practical test of the company's global departments and the annual settlement test of the company's general ledger.
Many design tools have also been released to social applications on Huawei Cloud, gradually overcoming the embarrassment of lack of supply.
